HuNia V. Bradley
Executive Director
HuNia Vinnetta Bradley is the Executive Director of the Sexual Assault Advocacy Network (SAAN), a passionate community servant leader, and a courageous advocate for change. A survivor of incest and childhood sexual abuse, HuNia has transformed her personal pain into a powerful mission to create safe, healing spaces for women, men, and families. Under her leadership, SAAN has evolved from a solely online presence to a vibrant, in-person community of support, empowerment, and restoration.
As an educator, healer, mentor, advocate, and mother, HuNia is a true inspiration. Her resilience in the face of adversity fuels her commitment to empowering others and advocating for restorative justice, especially in the context of sexual harm. A native of Oakland, CA, HuNia’s love for fine cuisine is matched only by her passion for the cause she serves. She travels the world, building communities and creating spaces where healing can flourish. HuNia believes deeply in the transformative power of restorative justice and continues to make a difference with every step she takes.

Wanda Johnson
Social Media Manager
Wanda Yvette is a two-time survivor of childhood incest and an advocate for healing and empowerment. She is a blogger, author, and aspiring motivational speaker dedicated to amplifying the voices of survivors.

With over 20 years of experience in the human services field, Wanda has worked tirelessly to support disengaged citizens in Baltimore, MD. Now residing in St. Louis, MO, she continues her mission while cherishing life with her two adult children.
As she continues her own journey of healing from childhood sexual trauma and adult assaults, Wanda is committed to creating safe spaces for fellow survivors. She speaks her truth boldly, using poetry to share her story, inspire resilience, and guide others toward thriving beyond trauma.

AunRika Shabazz
Research Intern
AunRika Tucker-Shabazz joins SAAN as a student. survivor and research intern, providing structural support for organizational development. She specializes in instructional design for underresourced communities, including incest and child sexual abuse survivors in Christian churches. Her activism is informed by womanist, Black and Chicana feminist sociology. Originally from Minnesota, she currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she completed her graduate studies in sociology. Her expertise in the science of gender, sexuality, and religion strengthen SAAN’s ability to partner with other institutions in the fight to protect human and civil rights of children. She is an avid television and film consumer, currently obsessed with Lovecraft Country, Fleabag, Abbott Elementary, and Paradise. She enjoys weightlifting, live music, and True Crime makeup videos.

Veronica Maxam
Member Experience Advisor
Veronica Maxam joins SAAN as a Member Experience Advisor. Currently serving in leadership at a legal technology company, Veronica specializes in client service, customer experience, and building go-to-market teams.
Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional work through serving as Board Treasurer at East Bay Church of Religious Science, volunteering with St. Vincent DePaul as a job readiness coach and serving meals to the underserved at Project Open Hand. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and now residing in Oakland, Veronica enjoys spending time with friends and she/her family, attending live music events, reading dystopian novels, cooking, and giving back to her community through volunteering.
